This group is a space for BIPoC folks to communally tend to grief through engaging in the loving practice of reading out loud for each other, journaling, uplifting the power of truth speaking, and witnessing grief with tenderness.
Who is this space for?:
BIPoC folks, folks looking for a space to talk about grief.
What this group is not?:
Trauma processing, crisis stabilization.
Facilitator Bio:
Spider (ze/zir) is a Mexican, queer, agender, neurodivergent therapist and spiritual leader. Ze is passionate about using creative tools to foster communal healing and liberation. Spider is committed to supporting folks of the Global Majority, LGBTQIA2S+ folks, folks with disabilities, and folks invested in accessibility and justice. This group will meet virtually at 6pm on these days: April 20, April 27, May 4, May 11, May 18, May 25. Sliding scale options available.
