Group: Parent Support Group

This is a support group for parents/guardians of youth (under 18 yo). All parents are encouraged to join this space to come together and explore parenting struggles and fears connected to culture and society. This group will be on-going so participants can join at any time, in hopes to create community together! Brief chemistry call will be completed beforehand. No insurance needed, sliding scale fee of $25-$50.

Who this group is for:
This group is appropriate for English speakers, support group for parents/guardians of youth (under 18 yo).

What this group is not:
Therapy treatment for parents.

Facilitator Bio:
My name is Tania (She/Her/Ella), I a Puerto Rican, first-gen, clinical therapist at The Hinterlands that primarily focuses on working with youth and families impacted by different traumas. I take a relational and culturally-trauma informed approach with an anti-capitalist lens. As a licensed clinical social worker, I bring real life experience combined with 10 years worth of clinical experience working with these populations together in a room. I encourage any parents/guardians of youth (under 18 yo) to join this space to explore parenting/guardian struggles and fears connected to culture and society. This group will be on-going so participants can join at any time, in hopes to create community together!

Date and Time:
This group will meet in person at The Hinterlands, every other Tuesday at 2:30pm.
