ZE/ZIR — CLINICAL THERAPIST
Nolti! Notoka Tokatl (ze/zir), onineski La Villita, Chicago (Zhigaagong), nitekipanowa Spiritual Leader wan Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
Howdy! My name is Spider (ze/zir). I am from La Villita, Chicago (Zhigaagong) and I walk in this world as both a Spiritual Leader and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
My work honors the physical, emotional, and spiritual self as inseparable parts of a living web. Healing is not about fixing what is broken. Healing is remembering power. My offerings are an act of cultural and spiritual refusal. Our communities carry intergenerational practices that have survived colonization and extermination attempts. By tending to spiritual harm, I continue my ancestors’ resistance and affirm that our brilliance is alive.
There is no “standard” session. Each meeting is shaped by who you are, who I am, and what emerges when our paths meet. Consent, accountability, anti-racism, and liberation guide every moment. While money is exchanged under capitalism, each session is also a reciprocal learning space that reminds us what is possible even under oppressive conditions. Spiritual services are available as standalone sessions, or, as part of Clinical Therapy work.
Colonization sought to sever us from spirit by criminalizing resistance and destroying human and non-human kin. The resulting loneliness, exhaustion, and trauma are not personal failings. They are strategic conditions of white supremacy. To this I say “hell nah!” We are still here. We are still dangerous to the colonial project. The work I do is part of a long, queer, trans, Indigenous lineage committed to collective survival and liberation.
Ximomalwi!
Take care!
P.S.-I am currently learning Nahuatl, specifically the variant from La Sierra Negra de Tehuacan, Puebla. Notemachtiani itoka Jordan Xipatlani-check out my teacher Jordan Xipatlani’s work @xipatlanii on facebook, instagram, and youtube!

All spiritually specific services begin with a consultation to ground trust, clarify consent, answer questions, and ensure a good fit. These can occur on their own or as part of clinical therapy. I draw from Indigenous and folk healing practices which can include breathwork, movement, song, sacred herbs and smokes, stones, rattles, and feathers.
Standard Limpia: An energetic cleanse supporting the release of stagnant or harmful energy. Includes drum, rattle, and smoke work. Around 30 minutes plus integration time.
Profound Limpia: A deeper cleansing for wounds caused by complex spiritual harm. Uses candles, tobacco, obsidian, maguey thread, guided visualization, and breathwork. Booked in 2-hour sessions.
Home Limpia: A clearing or protection ritual for home spaces during transitions or after negative events. Duration and cost depend on space size.
Spiritual Reading: A ritual consultation with spirit for guidance. Includes meditation with candle and copal, followed by divination and collaborative processing.
Spiritual Mentorship: For those beginning or deepening their spiritual path. I do not offer a single map. I offer tools rooted in justice, safety, and self-determination so people can find their own way home.
