Description: QTPoC Strong is a virtual peer support group where peers can process and connect over their intersecting LGBTQ+ and BIPOC identities, cultivate resilience in the face of ongoing political changes, and reclaim joy as an act of resistance. This group will primarily focus on building social connections, fostering empowerment, and engaging in identity work alongside peers.
Who This Space Is For: Those who identify as LGBTQ+ and BIPOC who are interested in collective care and building relationships with their peers while also nourishing their own inner resources.
What This Space Is Not: This group is not a cure-all for systemic wounds, but rather, a place to begin or continue the collective healing process. This group is also not a substitute for psychotherapy or psychiatric medication. Lastly, this group is not a place to promote hateful or discriminatory language or ideas.
