THEY/THEM — CLINICAL THERAPIST

Coming to therapy can feel overwhelming—sometimes even scary. It asks us to look inward, confront vulnerability, and hold space for parts of ourselves we may have been taught to hide. As a therapist, I don’t believe you're broken or in need of fixing. Instead, I see therapy as a space to nurture self-acceptance, curiosity, and sustainable change. I meet my clients with deep compassion and a commitment to honoring every part of who they are—especially the ones they’ve been taught to feel ashamed of.

My approach is client-centered, trauma-informed, and solution-focused. I aim to create a space where you feel empowered to set the pace. You're in the driver’s seat—and together, we’ll explore challenges, make meaning, and pursue growth in ways that align with your values and identity. Whether we’re working through relationship struggles, navigating identity development, or unpacking stress, anxiety, or self-esteem, I’m here to walk with you—not ahead of you.

As a multicultural, non-binary therapist, I am especially passionate about working with LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent clients. My practice is grounded in a social justice lens that recognizes the very real impact of systemic oppression on mental health. I believe healing includes resisting shame that never belonged to us in the first place.

Before beginning my counseling career, I worked in a variety of people-centered roles that deeply inform how I show up in the therapy room. As a CaptionCall operator, I supported Deaf and hard-of-hearing clients—an experience that honed my active listening skills and deepened my sensitivity to nonverbal communication and cultural nuance. I’ve also trained service animals, preparing them to offer support for people with disabilities and emotional support needs—a process that taught me a lot about patience, regulation, and the power of quiet, attuned connection. And as a reading tutor for elementary students, I’ve supported kids navigating the push and pull between autonomy and structure—an experience that prepared me to work with both children and adults who are renegotiating control, agency, and self-trust in their lives.

I’m currently developing a trauma-informed, emotionally-focused relationship program for couples and polycules. If you're looking for a couples or individual therapist who will meet you with warmth, curiosity, and a deep respect for your lived experience, I’d be honored to work with you.
